Services

Academic Tutor

Brittany works with children pre-k through high school for academic support as well as educational enrichment. After speaking with parents, she will develop individualized programs to help students excel in the classroom.

Parent/Student Advocate

It is important that parents as well as students learn advocacy skills in order to succeed in the classroom and everyday life. Brittany will meet with parents, teachers and other members of a child's educational team to promote a network of aligned support.

TOD

As a certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Brittany will make sure that your child is getting support both academically and socially. She believes that teaching children self advocacy skills and helping educate teachers and caregivers about hearing loss is key to success. These skills include helping students learn to care for their equipment, advocate for themselves both in and outside of the classroom.

Brittany is a certified Teacher with two Masters degrees in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.  She works as a Learning Specialist, Child Advocate and Academic Tutor with experience in classroom support and individualized instruction. Brittany also works with children with language based learning disabilities.  

She is a Certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and has worked for over 10 years as a Hearing Education Service Provider at many of New York City’s top private schools.

She lives in North Jersey with her husband and two children

Brittany is a Co-Founder of CampedUP, a Manhattan based day camp for cochlear implant and hearing aid users using an auditory based communication approach.
